John 8:34–38 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
2 Corinthians 12:9 … “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Romans 5:8–9 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
Hebrews 4:15–16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jesus wants us free! He doesn’t want us enslaved to behaviors and habits that suck the life out of us, our fellowship with God and our relationships with others. Today Pastor Ron continues to look at different stops on the path to freedom.
