Philippians 2:5–8 (ESV) — 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Isaiah 14:12–14 (ESV) — 12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn!… 13 You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’
Romans 12:10 (ESV) — 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
The essence of who we are in Christ is love. How we walk it out makes all the difference. It starts in the heart, then in the home, then in the church, then to the world.

I hope I always do. Myself falls way too short, but I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!
